The lineart for this drawing dates back to 2006, I think. I never got around to completing it until now, as I had way too many drawings/sketches on the go for a while, and this one was never too high on my priority list. (So, please ignore any terrible flaws with the lineart!)
I got a tablet a couple of months ago and used this drawing as my first practice run with it. I've been working on it off and on and finally finished it tonight. I ran into numerous problems at first, as my computer and graphics program decided to go at war with one another. It took forever for me to make any headway because of that.
Anyway, I tried to develop a more blended version of my cell style. I think I succeeded for the most part, though there are some places where I think it could have been blended more. For a first try with the tablet, as well as with trying new ways to work with the colors, I'm pretty pleased with it.
