Well, it's been a while since I uploaded artwork to DA. I haven't drawn all that much since my last upload, but I do have a few pieces on the go. This isn't one of them; it's just a pen sketch that I did about a month ago. It's more or less complete, though, and it's new, so I thought I'd upload it while I work at finishing the other pieces.
This is Achlys, Queen of the Phaeanis, from my storyverse. The Phaeanis are a shamanistic race of elves that dwell in the Glathiel rainforest. They are the source of all dark magics, having been the first to discover and tap into the necrotic power of the sprit realm.
With centuries of life behind her, Achlys has become a master of these powers, which has served her well in her time as Queen. Able to create and control undead, she uses her powers to protect her people.

Nicely done, are these evil "ripped from a restful afterlife to wreck vengence upon the living" undead, or good "spirits returned to their mortal shells to protect their decendants" undead?

Nah, a joke. She looks spooky and pretty at the same time, but certainly regal. It's pretty awesome.
